Chennai based Dax Networks is bullish about its plans for this financial year and has plenty of measures lined up for the coming months.

Sujit Singh, country manager, Dax Networks, said, "Our annual strategy and plans for the next three years are being evolved and formalized. We at Dax are targeting a growth rate of 20 percent and reaching a revenue figure of Rs 70 crore this year. Quite a few new products are expected to roll out for the enterprise networking. These include high-end routing switches, central site routers, and converters."

On the channel front, too, Dax has chalked out new plans, which include training and other partner-centric programs. Singh elaborated, "This year all our channel partners will effectively realize and move up the value chain in terms of product mix, increased spread across key verticals and, of course, a healthy bottom line."

Singh added, "We have earmarked a partnering program to formalize strategic relationship in appointing Gold, Silver and Star partners across the country, matching their profile and our thrust."

When asked whether they have any specific plans for the eastern region where their network is not very strong, Singh said, "Though our market presence in the East is not very significant, yet we have increased our presence in this segment by 33 percent last year." For its networking growth in the East, the company believes one must leverage not the channel, but integrator partners whose niche lies in networking.

Dax has also a training calendar in place where they are covering over 10 networking modules. This free training program, which is scheduled for five days every month, primarily targets the technical support executives of end-users, OEMs, SIs and distributors.
