Introduction

Dax Standalone Media Converters offers connection between Ethernet 10/100 Base TX and 100 Base-FX networks allowing cost-effective expansion. The Media Converters support conversion and bridging between 10/100 Base-TX to 100Base-FX networks. It extends the range of an existing Ethernet Network by converting it to fiber.

Fiber Connectivity

Dax Media Converters enhances the distance between the networking devices. The Fiber segments can further extend distances up to maximum 120km between two networking nodes.

Auto-negotiation

Dax Media converter is equipped with high performance auto sensing chip, which have full functionality of transferring and exchanging and guarantee the safety and stability of data transfer. Dax Media converter comes with MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing functionality.

Diagnostic LEDS:

Dax Media Converters includes troubleshooting features and LEDs to assist in Network diagnostics. It also ensures reliability by isolating cable breaks that usually occur.

Easy Installation:

Dax media converters with UTP connectivity along with built in MDI/MDI-X function allows the converter to be connected to a PC, hub or switch with a simple UTP cable. The installers are able to test the integrity and reliability of the Dax media converters through fiber connections.
