Here's the all in one solution in a modem. You can email data, Send faxes and talk to people over the Internet. A very competent modem, the Dax 56KI Internal modem is compatible with V.90. Support for V.92 is available in Win’98, Win ME, Win2000 and Windows XP.

Using V.92 technology, you can use the call Waiting feature from your Telco. Whenever you are online, you will be able to put your modem "on-hold" and answer your phone without losing your Internet connection.(Call waiting feature will be active only if the ISP support V.92 feature.)

Using V.92 technology, the Dax 56KI Internal modem learns and remembers how you usually connect to the Internet. This shortens the time it takes for your modem to connect, so you can start surfing faster. Downloading of software and graphics is fast and interactive games can be played without interruptions. The plug and play connectivity makes setting up the modem a simple task

Each Dax modem is bundled with free fax software. You can send and receive fax messages through the Dax modem. There is no need for additional FAX machine.  With support for voice using PC’s soundcard, the Dax modem can be transformed in to an answering machine device. The remote caller can listen to your voice mail message and even leave his voice mail message. Thus with Dax 56KI Internal modem, you can transform your home / desk to a communication center.
