![]() Introduction DX-3845 routers are Modular Aggregation routers that can support 600Kpps packet forwarding besides having the complete feature set of mid-end routers. These enterprise-level modular multifunctional security routers with high port-density, high-reliability and high-performance, can serve as a security access platform of multiple services, such as data, video and voice. DX-3845 routers provide eight MIM (Multifunction Interface Module) slots, and supports the simultaneous access of multiple WAN interfaces. DX-3845 router is ideally suited for data aggregation across all vertical segments. DX-3845 has a complete modular design, control card, hot pluggable power supplies and line cards are detachable from DX-3845 chassis. This enables DX-3845 router to provide great scalability and flexibility supports the software engine control cards with Giga Ethernet ports. The software engine, which runs on DX-3845 provides users with powerful functions, provides backup solutions based on backup center and VBRP & VRRP, rich QoS and network security features including MPLS, support VoIP, SNA/DLSw and IP multicast protocol, and at providing high performance/price ratio. DX-3845 router provides a comprehensive network solution across vertical segments and medium-to-large-sized enterprises. Each module of DX-3845 router thoroughly complies with corresponding network standards.
