Introduction

Dax DX-9510 router is a Modular router with a high performance engine that meets the requirement of interoperability and delivers concurrent services at 12 Mpps packet forwarding rates. DX-9510 is ideal for efficient large-scale WAN core aggregation and core uplink connection.

These enterprise-level modular multifunctional security routers with high port-density, high-reliability and high-performance, can serve as a security access platform for multiple services, such as data, video and voice. DX-9510 routers two control slots and eight MIM slots. It supports 32-port 155M interface or 256-port E1 interface with 12Mpps throughput.

DX-9510 router adopts delivers high routing, backup, network security service, IP multi-cast function QoS, network management function, protocols of network layer and link layer, BGP edge network gateway protocol and MPLS function.

Multi-core Processing

Dax DX-9510 adopts advanced multi-core processing technology for separation of data forwarding platform and protocol control platform via distributed processing. It provides load balance of data forwarding platforms.

High Performance

DX-9510 supports IPV6 protocol, BGP, MPLS and L2TP which can be used for deploying Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs. The features include ACL package-filtering, NAT, authentication audit, routing check, callback and service protect refuse. It provides integrated service and division service, supports RSVP, CAR, FIFO, PQ, FQ, CBWFQ, LLQ, SHELL, WEB, SNMP (SNMP V3 protocol)

High Port Density:

DX-9510 router has 4 # fixed 10/100/1000 M Gigabit Ethernet ports shared with 4 # unpopulated SFP slots, 1 # Console and 8# WAN slots.

The WAN/LAN ports satisfies the network establishment and offers flexible configuration. DX-9510 supports routing, switching integration which decreases the amount of user device and optimize the user environment.

Reliability

The router provides dual-redundancy or multi-redundancy design along with dual-link redundancy backup and load balance. The router provides 40Gbps backboard bandwidth for each slot, which makes the total bandwidth to 320Gbps and realizes the distributed and integrated infrastructure

Additional Features

The router provides LCD screen at the top, which displays system temperature, CPU usage and memory occupancy. By using shortcut keys beside LCD, the control card, line card and interface status can be checked.

Management:

DX-9510 Modular Router has a management SNMP interface to control and configure the router from a NOC / Central location. This simplifies the management, troubleshooting and configurations and thus meets the business needs easier. Command line interface is a quick system standard configuration interface which helps administrators to configure. DX-9510 series router has SNMP v3 which provides network management and security by authenticating and encrypting packets and ensures that the packets are not damaged and collected securely from the router.
