Introduction Dax Dx-5024GS switch is a Gigabit intelligent security access switch for enterprise and MAN networks. It supports comprehensive QoS, enhanced VLAN functions, bandwidth control, multi link aggregation, intelligent security control which fulfill the network requirements for Gigabit connectivity to desktop, storage areas network links, server group access, MAN high speed security access and so on. High adaptability VLAN Features Dax Dx-5024GS supports 802.1q VLAN, port based VLAN as well as MAC based VLAN. When user move from one port to another port still the switch can identify them as the same user by the same MAC address and then the user will remain in the same VLAN. IEEE 802.1X port-based access control ensures all users are authorized before being granted access to the network. User authentication is carried out using any standard-based RADIUS server. Dax Dx-5024GS switch supports 802.1d/w/s spanning tree and also supports GVRP/802.1Q, 802.1p, LACP/802.3ad, 802.3x, DHCP standards. The Switch also supports SNTP. Comprehensive QoS Dax Dx-5024GS switch can classify stream by port, 802.1p, ToS, DSCP, TCP/UDP ports and assign different level of service, supports SWRR/WRR/SP to provide QOS for voice/data/video. Simple management DX-5024GS supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), in-band and out-of-band. It Supports Command Line Interface (CLI) and WEB, supports Security IP function to prevent illegal users log in to the switch or change the configuration. Integrated authentication DX-5024GS switch supports 802.1 x authentication by port and MAC address. It supports anti spam and internet time control. With user based dynamic VLAN and bandwidth authorization, it can allocate IP address based on group policy without DHCP server
