Introduction
Dax Dx-509xx Series delivers the high performance layer 2 switching at full wire-speed and flexible connectivity with combination of 8 # 10/100 Mbps ports and 1# 100 Mbps Fiber port. DX-509xx Series easily fits into current network configuration, executing the management tasks. The diversified management access windows and user-friendly interface, SNMP, Console, Telnet, CLI, facilitate administrators' job, reducing the management effort to the minimum.
There are eight RJ45 connectors and one 100FX connector for the switch - with Port 1 of the switch could be TX or FX port depending on which port is link-up. So this switch could have 8 * TX or 7 * TX +1 * FX active ports, and the TX/FX function of Port 1 is auto-detected. DX-509xx Series supports various functions for a L2 switch management such as 802.1Q VLAN, 802.1x Port Security, Rate Control, Port Configuration, Port Mirroring, Port Statistics, QoS functions, etc. Auto MDI-X function is also supported for every TX port of the switch for easy cable connection.
